Ryderwood History Project, Inc.

About: Ryderwood's AMVETS Post 7010 formed the Project (RHP, Inc.) in 2015 as Ryderwood and Longview, Washington approach their 2023 centennials. Since then, a significant collection has been digitally preserved for the future and the Project has formed a tax-exempt Corporation to continue its mission. The group has hosted live interviews and movie showings. Many activities are co-ordinated with the Cowlitz Co. Historical Museum and Cowlitz Co. Historic Preservation Commission. The mission is to discover, collect, preserve and share knowledge about the histories of Ryderwood, Washington. It is now a 501c3​ tax-exempt corporation and all interested parties are encouraged to join the group's efforts.
